Last hurrah!
2008-11-24They've stopped making polaroid film, and the expected final availability (according to polaroid's web site) is the first quarter 2009. At this point in time, I'd think the main interest would be in artistic work with the film. Check the expiration dates, and get some before the era comes to a complete close.

caution
2008-11-22I bought this film for my mother who refuses to switch to digital photography. The product came on time and the price was fair. When my mother started to use the first box of film, however, it was defective. It left half of the developed picture black. At first she thought her camera was broken, but after trying another pack of film, there wasn't a problem. So she got two packs of film, not three :(

Able To Find Polaroid Film!!
2008-10-09Delivered quickly, excellent service. They are still making Polaroid film-great to know..Make sure you buy the right film for your Polaroid camera-there are different kinds..We used it for a picture book for my wife's 50th birthday bash. Guests take a picture, glue into the book and write a little something next to the pic-good fun. All the film was used and performed perfectly. Definitely would use the site again.

Good for entretainment.
2008-09-24This thing is expensive. Everybody agree on that I think. And that's why I give 4 stars instead of 5; because for sure it would make me happier if it was less expensive. But lets consider the facts objectively:
1. If you want cheap photos: go digital. If you want best quality: go digital.
2. As old technologies get less massified, they are bound to get more expensive, it's just the way economics work. They could eventually disappear, unless there is a niche that specifically requires the technology. Then survival as well as very high prices are assured. In the case of THIS technology: evidence photographs. But the conventional film could kill this niche.
3. Did you notice that the Polaroid camera has a flash but does not uses batteries? Guess what: the film pack is also the battery. So you are not just paying for the photos.
4. As with everything: If you buy bigger packs, the price for each photo is less.
5. Last but most important: Unless you work for a detective agency, government or police; this product is for fun, for amusement. Is a very expensive method for pictures, compared to actual alternatives, but is very recommended if you happen to have a working Polaroid instantaneous camera and want to amuse today's kids or even adults that never had this experience before.

Too expensive!
2008-09-04This is such a ripoff for the price. You only get a handful photos for this insane price, which puts this around $1.50 a photograph. And if you experience the problem that I had where the film doesn't work in the camera, you end up wasting your photos trying to get it out. I feel ripped off, here.

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.

its pros and cons
VHS
The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder
is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back
the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS
camcorders are not nearly as clear as digital

VHS video cameras only offer 240 lines of resolution. They also weigh more
and are much more bulky, that dv camcorders. You can only find these video

the same technology. The video tapes u ...
